Limoncello is a feminized, sativa-dominant cannabis variety from Barney's Farm, bred from Original Lemonnade and Cherry Pie genetics with an 80 percent sativa to 20 percent indica ratio. It has won multiple Cannabis Cup awards in 2008 and 2009. The buds are compact, combining green and purple hues with orange hairs and a generous resin coating. Its aroma is a complex bouquet of lemon, herbs, and flowers with notes of skunk and gas, while the flavor combines cherry, citrus, and sweet lemon with sour undertones. This robust, mold-resistant strain is relatively easy to grow. Indoors, it reaches 80 to 120 cm with a flowering time of around 10 to 11 weeks and yields of about 600 g/m². Outdoors, it can stretch up to 2 m, with harvest typically ready in mid-October and yields of up to 1.5 kg per plant.
